macOS private beta
Set up Cloze Reader.
You will need Anki, AnkiConnect, and the Cloze Reader installer for your Mac.
Add AnkiConnect
In Anki, choose Tools → Add-ons → Get Add-ons. Enter code 2055492159, restart Anki, and keep it open while syncing.
Choose your Mac installer
Open Apple menu → About This Mac. Choose Apple silicon if the Chip says M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer. Choose Intel if the Processor says Intel.
Install and open
Open the downloaded ZIP, open the DMG, and drag Cloze Reader into Applications. The beta is not yet notarized by Apple, so macOS may block the first launch.
To allow it, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the blocked-app message, and choose Open Anyway. Confirm only if you received the installer from the Cloze Reader beta.
Connect your account
Open Cloze Reader, choose Account & Billing, and approve the matching connection code in your browser. Then open Anki and select Refresh Anki in the app.
