Private beta terms

These terms describe the current invitation beta and will be reviewed before public commercial release.

Beta access

Cloze Reader is provided for evaluation and may change, pause, or experience interruptions. Keep copies of important study materials and cards.

Your responsibilities

Use only material you are permitted to process. Protect your account, review every generated card, and use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to bypass allowance limits, disrupt the service, or access another person’s account.

AI output

AI-generated content can be incomplete or wrong and is not medical, educational, or professional advice. You are responsible for checking source fidelity and accuracy before studying, sharing, or relying on a card.

Subscriptions and allowance

The planned $5 monthly subscription includes a metered AI allowance that resets each billing cycle and does not roll over. Purchased additional allowance carries over and is used after the monthly allowance. Current beta checkout uses test payments and does not charge personal funds.

Cancellation and termination

You may cancel through Manage billing. Access to server-managed AI requires an active subscription, while local PDFs and cards remain on your Mac. Access may be suspended for misuse or security reasons.

Warranty and liability

The private beta is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or error-free output. Do not use it as the sole repository for important information.
